Ouachitas: Mena

Artifacts of the Old West and Indian culture are on display; some can be purchased. Custom-made picture frames, Wild West pictures along with Indian pottery are available.

Directions: Take U.S. 71 north from Mena. At Acorn, take U.S. 270 west, go 10 miles, 1-1/2 miles past the Rich Mountain Store at U.S. 270 and Ark. 272. From Queen Wilhelmina State Park, take the Ark. 272 cutoff to the foot of the mountain and go west (left) on U.S. 270 one and one-half miles.
