Ozarks: Huntsville

Mossy Creek Woodworks is located on a farm in rural Madison County, Arkansas, through which flows the company's namesake stream. These wooden toys are inspired by traditional folk toys of American past. Mossy Creek uses local woods to craft handmade organic toys. The company uses no chemicals or paint on the toys and allows the wood to air dry before carving it into baby rattles, train sets, etc. Has been featured on "E! News," and displayed at New York's Metropolitan Museum ofArt and The Museum of Fine Arts in Boston.

Directions: Located in the Wesley community half-way between Huntsville and Fayetteville.
