I have lived in Central Arkansas all my life and the Arkansas Arts Center has always been a source of pride, pleasure, fulfillment and joy to me. I lived on 14th Street during junior high and high school years, just a couple of blocks from MacArthur Park. My friends, brothers and sisters and I spent many, many hours the Arts Center. My own daughter became a "Theater Baby" of the AAC Childrens Theatre during the 80s, giving her invaluable training for her career as a professional actor and musician. And now I have the joy of taking my grandson to all the Childrens Theatre plays, art exhibits and events offered by the AAC. The Arkansas Arts Center is second to none, and we in Little Rock and the state of Arkansas are privileged to have such a facility.
