Overview:
Vintage photos and other memorabilia from former clubs the Silver Moon and Porky's Roof Top. In the 1950s, clubs and joints along this stretch of highway from Newport to Pocahontas played host to Johnny Cash, Elvis Presley, Roy Orbison, Jerry Lee Lewis, Conway Twitty, Sonny Burgess and Billy Lee Riley. Bob King’s in Swifton still stands.

This museum holds an important part of modern music history's legacy. In time people will travel the highway to see the artifacts. We came to USA to Arkansas for the Highway 67 festivals last year and photographed King of Clubs before it burnt down. It was the last operating club. We are returning next year to film Route 66, 67 and I40 music Highway. More people will choose to make these journeys in the future. You can see Route 66 is already becoming a cult trip. I did it in 1968 and am looking forward to reliving the experience. The artifacts in this museum are a part of modern music history - they need to be preserved and scanned copies should be retained to assure it doesn't all go up in smoke like King of Clubs collection.
