Mulberry River

One of the state's wildest rivers during spring; it pours over ledges, shoots through willow thickets, and whips around sharp turns. Class II-IV rating. Designated a National Wild and Scenic River in 1992. The 70-mile river, rated Class II-IV during the spring for canoeing and kayaking, is one of the state’s wildest rivers. Much of the river is within the 1.2 million acre Ozark National Forest. A great choice for exploring, multi-species angling, swimming and wading. Several public campgrounds are along its course.
