Queen Wilhelmina State Park

Queen Wilhelmina State Park Lodge is now open after undergoing a $9.7-million renovation. Located atop 2,681-foot Rich Mountain, the lodge has been expanded from 26,335 to 37,011 square feet while adding a new hearth room with wood-burning fireplace, two additional guest rooms increasing the total to 40, and more space within each. Four include gas fireplaces and spa tubs; three are barrier-free to; choices are Queen, King, King with spa tub and gas fireplace, and King Suite choices. Expanded meeting space and an elevator added. In addition to the lodge, the 460-acre park includes a campground with 41 campsites and bathhouse; picnic areas; trails; and, a seasonal miniature train and mini-golf course.
