2010 Arkansas Fall Foliage Reports Begin Today

Kerry Kraus

At this time of the year, it’s the $64,000 question. When will the fall colors be at their peak? It makes me wish I was The Amazing Kreskin. It’s still a little too early to tell when the red, gold, yellow, russet, orange and purple that announce the coming of autumn will show up but we begin posting our fall color updates today, September 23.

Late every Thursday afternoon, we update the latest information on the changing of the leaves as supplied by our trusty and dedicated network of spotters around the state. All you have to do is go to our Autumn in Arkansas website to get the most recent details about what’s taking place. Or you can call 1-800-NATURAL or 501-682-7777.

Let us help you plan your autumn excursion in The Natural State. Get tons of free information on Free Arkansas Info.  And don’t forget to take a look at the Arkansas Hot Deals page for some great travel packages and coupons.

    Hi Praveen,

This weekend will be a good one to visit. For cabin information, check this website: http://www.arkansas.com/places-to-stay/cabins/

My suggestions for places to visit in Arkansas would be to start with Little Rock/North Little Rock, then go to Hot Springs. If there’s time, then head to Eureka Springs.

    Have a great trip.
