The Arkadelphia Arts Center opens tomorrow ( Oct 11) in the historic Royal Theatre building in Arkadelphia. A Grand Opening is scheduled for 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. and the public is invited to drop by the open house event ( the Cedar Grove Pickers are scheduled to play), tour the new gallery space and visit with members of the newly reestablished Clark County Arts and Humanities Council, the non-profit organization responsible for renovation of the former theatre building.
On Friday through Sunday, ( Oct. 14-16) the Center will be open in support of the 5th annual Round About Artist Studio Tour.
Located at 625 Main Street , the center serves local arts organizations including the Clark County Arts and Humanities Council, Caddo River Art Guild, Arkadelphia Poets and Writers Guild, Arkadelphia Philharmonic, Clark County Historical Association, and Arkadelphia Little Theater, as well as Clark County public schools, Henderson State University, Ouachita Baptist University, and the City of Arkadelphia.
