It’s time again for the 8th semi-annual Arkansas Anime Festival, held at the Clarion Hotel and Convention Center in Bentonville. You can meet anime voice actors Spike Spencer and John Swasey. Anime special effects make-up artist Eric Barton, and several others will also be there.

It’s open to the public, and considered PG-13. Activities include video gaming, tabletop gaming, stage shows, cosplay, dances, and a guest and fan panel. If you’re feeling competitive, contest range from an anime music video competition for the filmmaker aficionado to a duct tape creation contest. In the latter, participants compete in making everything from anime inspired clothing to statues to props. Or, put your architectural skills to the test in the Lego building competition.
