Arkansas Craft Guild’s Christmas Showcase

The Arkansas Craft Guild’s
31st Annual Christmas Showcase is set for this weekend (Dec 4-6) at
the Statehouse Convention Center. The guild, which is based in Mountain View, was
established as a craft marketing cooperative in Stone County in 1962 and today
around 200 artists and craft artisans make up the cooperative’s all-Arkansas
membership. For entertainment Charlie Mink, who plays at the Ozark Folk Center,
will be on hand at the showcase playing the Mountain Dulcimer. More details can
be found at www.arkansascraftguild.org.  This
week’s Arkansas Times also has a pull out section highlighting participating
artists.
