Blind Boys of Alabama Perform in Forrest City on Thursday

The award-winning and world-renowned Blind Boys of Alabama take the stage of the East Arkansas Community College Fine Arts Center in Forrest City on Thursday, Nov. 10.

Formed in 1939, the group, including founding member Jimmy Carter, has traveled the world sharing their musical talent with generations of fans. They have appeared on recordings by Bonnie Raitt, Marty Stuart, Lou Reed, Solomon Burke, k.d. lang, and Tom Petty.

Sara and Sean Watkins are special guests for the performance. The brother and sister duo are members of the Grammy Award-winning group Nickle Creek.

Tickets to the performance of the Blind Boys of Alabama are still available for the 7 p.m. Thursday performance.
