Gather the kids and bring them to enjoy Heifer Hour at Heifer International (HI) in downtown Little Rock. The free event is held monthly on the second Saturday from 11 a.m. until noon.  The focus of the festivities is caring for the Earth and other people by working to cure world hunger and poverty.

On Nov. 9, discover how Heifer International provides the all-American turkey to families throughout Eastern Europe and Central America to help alleviate world hunger. Afterwards, make your own turkey from a pine cone to take home.

The Heifer Village located at the international headquarters is where all the activities take place for those who are kindergarten through fifth grade age.

Heifer is located at 1 World Avenue next to the Clinton Presidential Library.
