There’s something so All-American about small town festivals – right up there with hot dogs, Mom and apple pie. A great one takes place this weekend when Cabot holds its 32nd annual Cabotfest, Oct. 9. From 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. in downtown Cabot, you can ride carnival rides, play games, eat all sorts of food, and enjoy a wide variety of live entertainment.
There’s a kids fun zone with giant inflatables and the magical balloon man, a climbing wall, bingo and a car and motorcycle show. The United Freestyle BMX Bike Stunt Team performs at 11 a.m., 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. Two highlights are a cricket spitting contest and a performance by county music recording artist Michael Sarver, who appeared on season eight of American Idol. Come early and plan to stay all day!

This looks great!!! You did a great job of capturing the essence of CabotFest. Thank you so very much!!!
