Delilah, a majestic English Suffolk Draft horse, pulls the holiday-decorated carriage where passengers are tucked in under warm blankets. The trip takes you through the woods lighted with hurricane lanterns located around the property’s lake. The 30-minute ride is perfect for couples and families. The sounds of sleigh bells and the horses’ hooves crossing the wooden Spring Creek Bridge add to the evening’s ambience.
Hot chocolate and marshmallows are served around a bonfire at ride’s end. Blankets are provided, but you should dress appropriately for the weather. Arrive 15 minutes prior to departure time to register and visit the horses. Tickets are $60 for two adults, $30 per person; younger than age six are free. There is a 48-hour cancellation policy and only cash is accepted.
