
Little Rock’s Movies in the Park series has a showing every Wednesday evening at sundown in Riverfront Park throughout the summer months. The first June presentation is “Transformers” on the 6th. The 2007 sci-fi thriller stars Shia LaBeouf, Megan Fox and Josh Duhamel. Concessions selling beverages, popcorn, candy and ice cream will be available. Seating is available in the Riverfest Amphitheatre but you can bring your own blanket or lawn chair if you prefer. Admission is free.

Conway’s Station Park, Field 5, is where the Silver Moon Cinema presentation of “Little Big League” will be Friday, June 8. This 1997 comedy baseball flick is about a 12-year-old fan who inherits the Minnesota Twins. It stars Luke Edwards, Timothy Busfield and John Ashton. The movie, along with popcorn and drink concessions, begins around 8:15 p.m. There is a $1 minimum admission donation which benefits the Black Bird Academy of Arts. Bring a lawn chair or blanket and come enjoy. Conway Station Park is located at 1501 Robins Street.





We have friends coming July 28 from PA. There are 8 of them and they are wondering what they can do in AR. They plan to visit Searcy then to Hot Springs and back to PA. What things can they do in these areas that are interesting and not too expensive?
