Don’t you just love going to designer houses? You see top-of-the-line everything from floor plans to design elements and final touches. All in one convenient location. Many a home improvement dream has probably been hatched at a designer house.
The Conway Symphony Designer House for 2010 opens on Sept. 24. A preview party is on Sept. 23 at 6 p.m. For $50, you get a sneak peak of what the designers have created while enjoying a cocktail buffet.
Located at 1105 Reynolds Avenue in The Village at Hendrix, the three-story home highlights the works of over 20 of Arkansas’s finest designers. According to organizers, they “selected a live/work unit in The Village as the perfect place for both commercial and residential designers to showcase their work, with a variety of indoor and outdoor spaces.” Some examples are a teen’s bedroom, a retail storefront and a patio.
You can purchase advance tickets online, which are $10 for a day pass, through 4 p.m. on Sept. 23. A run of the show pass, which offers unlimited admission, is $30, and group rates are available. Tickets are $15 at the door for a day pass beginning Sept. 24. The designer house is open through October 16.
