Here’s an update on the location of SOUPER SOUP, the March 12 fundraiser for The Eureka Springs Historical Museum. The event follows the Victorian Classic races.
The event will be held at the Eureka Springs High School cafeteria on Ark. 62 W, not at the Best Western Inn of the Ozarks Convention Center as previously announced.
You can grab a tasty bowl of soup from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., and vote for your favorite one while you’re there. The variety of soups is provided by some of the city’s finest restaurants. Along with two bowls of soup you can get cornbread, a beverage and choice of dessert. The latter are prepared by local Bed and Breakfast Inn establishments.
All the while you are eating your “souper soup,” you can feel good that you’re also helping preserve history. This event is one of the major fundraisers that the museum depends on for its operating expenses. The cost for the soup event is only $6 for adults and $3 for children under 12 years of age.
Get your tickets at the museum, located at 95 S. Main St., or at the Chamber of Commerce. You can get them in advance or at the door. Call Museum Director Ginni Miller at 479-253-9417 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
