10th annual Ventris Trail’s End Resort’s Fireworks Display; July 2; Garfield
Event Details: We welcome you to the 10th annual Ventris Trail’s End Resort’s fireworks display in honor of our Nation’s Independence! Watch and be awed as thousands of fireworks light up the night’s sky while listening to inspirational music! Show is to be seen by boat only. Just South of marker “8” on Beaver Lake. Independence Day Celebration; July 2; Mountain View
Event Details: Your entire family can enjoy this celebration having fun like bobbing for apples, sack racing, carrying eggs and watermelon seed spitting contests. In between there is ice cold watermelon for a hot July day. All of this is only a small part of the Park and the Craft Village! There are also meals at the Smokehouse or the Skillet Restaurant, and those staying at the Cabins at Dry Creek can enjoy swimming in the outdoor pool.
Donkey Days–The True Spirit of Independence; July 2; Mountain View
Event Details: The early Ozark settlers would not have been nearly as comfortable or productive without their long-eared companions. Join us for a celebration of the shear stubborn cussed-ness of the mules and donkeys of the Ozarks. Donkey races, fashion shows, and fun and games where the long-ears make fools of their human companions make this unique celebration a fun way to start your 4th of July holiday. Races start will be in the lower parking lot at the Ozark Folk Center. Pre-registration required for competitors, no fee for spectators.
Fireworks Extravaganza Over Greers Ferry Lake; July 2; Heber Springs
Event Details: One of the largest fireworks displays in Arkansas. Over beautiful Greers Ferry Lake. Live entertainment, food vendors and kids activities are also available at Sandy Beach.

67th annual Rodeo of the Ozarks and Parade; June 29 – July 2; Springdale
Event Details: Come to downtown Springdale early to pick your best view along historic Emma Avenue! Floats, marching bands, clowns, queens and hundreds of horses will take part in this annual event.

All American Weekend; July 2 – July 3; Eureka Springs
Event Details: Chili cook-off, parade, street dance, poker run, fun bike ride, small kids’ carnival. A full weekend of family fun! Benefits NWA Special Olympics.

Independence Day Celebration; July 2 – July 4; Bull Shoals
Event Details: Enjoy all-American fun for the entire family! Recreational activities are scheduled all weekend. Activities include the infamous watermelon eating contest, seed spitting contest, the “Wet as a Trout” slip and slide, plus a variety of other fun games. Certificates will be awarded! Please contact the park for a detailed schedule.
Devil’s Den State Park Kid’s Softball Semifinal Games I and II; July 3; West Fork
Event Details: Softball is a longstanding tradition at Devil’s Den State Park! The team that wins this game will go on the championship game to be played Monday, July 4th at 4 p.m. All kids age 14 and under are encouraged to join in the fun!

Fourth of July Extravaganza; July 4; Eureka Springs
Event Details: Largest display in the area. Main fireworks display starts at dusk, and visitors may bring their own. Food and soft drink concessions available.

Admission: Free, donations accepted.

Event Details: Food, music, games in the Salem City Park followed by a big Fireworks display over the lake.

4th of July Parade and Celebration; July 4; Horseshoe Bend
Event Details: Parade, ice cream social, boat flotilla, and top off the day with fireworks over Turkey Mountain Golf Course!

Thunder On Thunderbird 4th of July Festival and Celebration; July 4; Cherokee Village
Event Details: 11 a.m. Festival and a celebration of our country’s independence. Vendors, bounce houses, dunk tank, live music starts at 2 p.m., Bottom Land Band, Backflash, and Heywyre will appear. Hot dog eating contest at 4 p.m. Boat parade on Lake Thunderbird starts at 7 p.m., followed by an awesome helicopter airshow over the lake at 8:15 p.m., and then the huge fireworks show done to music over beautiful Lake Thunderbird.

Fire in the Sky; July 4; Siloam Springs
Event Details: Fire in the Sky is a firework show presented by the City of Siloam Springs.

Family Fun Downtown 4th of July in Eureka Springs; July 4; Eureka Springs
Event Details: Cupcake walk, international watermelon seed spitting contest and more. Fun activities all day in the heart of downtown Eureka Springs. All free and family-friendly. Starts at noon.

Annual 4th of July Celebration; July 4; Deer
Event Details: Deer Volunteer Fire Department Annual July 4th Celebration. Annual celebration held at the Deer School grounds, just two miles off Scenic 7 Byway on Scenic Highway 16. Festivities, food and ice cream, bingo, cakewalk, horseshoe tournaments, turtle races and other games and contests for all ages. Good country and gospel music. Brilliant fireworks display finale.
