Free Screening of “Lincoln” in Lincoln on Feb. 12

Good things come to towns named Lincoln. The promotions department for the currently released movie, “Lincoln”, is hosting a nationwide promotion of the Steven Spielberg Oscar-nominated movie in towns named Lincoln.Lincoln_2012_Teaser_Poster

So, a free screening of the movie will be part of a special celebration of Lincoln’s 204th birthday at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 12 at Lincoln Middle School Auditorium. You can see the movie with free admission and free concessions. Even better, there will be a pre-screening reception about the meaning of leadership, civic engagement, and “standing tall.” It will feature local historians, community leaders, and students.

The Lincoln High School EAST classes are providing the reception. The auditorium is located at 107 E. School St.
