Get Out of the House Blog: Spring Break at Davidsonville Historic State Park

For many schoolchildren, next week is spring break. With the beautiful weather we’ve been having in Arkansas, it’s a great time to get the youngsters outside, having fun, and learning something at the same time!

Davidsonville Historic State Park in Pocahontas offers a Spring Break Adventure Camp on March 21-23 for ages 7-12. Attendees explore the park and learn about history, nature and archeology through a series of fun, hands-on activities. Space is limited and reservations are required. The three-day camp is $50 per participant. For detailed information, contact the park at 870-892-4708.

  1. Terri Ayers says:

Are there any slots left for the Dutch oven class and what type lodging is available?

  2. Kim says:

Terri, if you’re referring to the Italian night Dutch oven workshop, I believe it is booked, but you should call the park and check. They may have openings. The number for the park is 870-892-4708.
