If fishing is your hobby, you likely have a favorite fishing hole on one of Arkansas’s lakes, rivers and/or streams. If you’re just discovering Arkansas’s fishing waters, you have tons of options to choose from regarding water, region, and species. Here’s some good information for making a choice about where to fish next.

The Arkansas Game and Fish Commission stocked more than 1,413,000 fish in Arkansas lakes and rivers during December. According to Mark Oliver, chief of the Fisheries Division, the total stocking of fish weighed more than 82,200 pounds.

    My son just caught a 55lb plus catfish at Cherry Lake. It almost drug him in 3 times. It broke his line 3 times. But he finnialy caught it.
