Help the Wounded Warrior Project Saturday by Having Fun

If there is one thing cyclists like to do, it’s ride for a good cause. There’s an excellent one coming up on Nov. 6 with The Arkansas Challenge Soldier Ride to benefit The Wounded Warrior Project.  The event begins at 9 a.m. at the Clinton Presidential Library in Little Rock’sRiver Market. Riders tour North Little Rock and Camp Robinson before heading across the Big Dam Bridge and back to the Clinton Center. The Enlisted Association Chow Hounds are providing barbecue and there is entertainment along with tours of the library.  This family oriented event sponsored by the Arkansas Freedom Fund

Any word on how this went? How many people participated? I can’ think of a greater cause to raise money for.

There was a nice article in Sunday’s paper about the ride. About a dozen servicemen and 100 supporters took part. It didn’t mention the amount of money raised.
