Jill M. Rohrbach

Looking for activities to keep your kids occupied this summer? Hobbs State Park-Conservation Area in Rogers has two July day camps that let your kids have loads of fun while learning something.

Some of the activities for the kiddos include hikes, crafts, games, stream studies, and other nature-related fun. Snacks and a T-shirt are provided too. Park staff keep ‘em busy from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day of the camp.

The dates for ages 9-12 are July 12-14. You must register by July 5. The dates for ages 6-8 are July 19-21. Register by July 11. The cost is $50 per child and class size is limited, so make your reservation now. The park is located on Ark. 12 just east of the Ark. 12/War Eagle Road intersection. Call 479-789-5000 for more information or to grab a spot for your child.

My Grandson will be attending the day camp at Hobbs this coming week. Is there a list of the things he might need to wear or take those days?

  2. Jill says:

    Hi Deborah,
You would need to contact the park directly.
