You’ve read the book. You’ve seen the movie versions. Now you can discover the secrets of Alice’s Wonderland by exploring a new interactive based exhibit on Lewis Carroll’s classic Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland at the Arkansas Museum of Discovery (AMOD). You can’t miss it – just look for the giant inflatable rabbit on the building roof. The exhibit opens May 31 and is on location through September 15.
Each section reminds visitors of the story with quotes from the original book and you’re likely to encounter some of the tale’s famous characters. The exhibit features areas such as the Riverbank, the Hall of Doors, and The Mad Hatter’s Tea Party.
There is no additional charge; entry is included in Museum admission. Designed for the Children’s Museum of San Jose, Alice’s Wonderland won the American Association of Museum’s 2003 Award of Excellence for Exhibit Design. The museum is located at 500 President Clinton Avenue, Suite 150 in downtown Little Rock. Phone 501-396-7050 for additional information.
