Did you ever wonder what the Land of Oz was like before Dorothy and Toto dropped in? Then you need get your tickets for “Wicked,” Nov. 3-14 in Little Rock.
I recently saw this fantastic show and it is one awesome play. Even if you think you’re not a fan of live theatre, if you’ve watched “The Wizard of Oz” at least one time, then you’ll love “Wicked.“ This Broadway touring production of the award-winning play tells of two girls meeting in Oz. One has emerald green skin and is smart, fiery and misunderstood. The other is beautiful, ambitious and very popular.
How they become the Wicked Witch of the West and Glinda the Good Witch makes for “the most complete — and completely satisfying — new musical in a long time” (USA Today). Winner of 35 major awards, including a Grammy and three Tony Awards, “Wicked” is “Broadway’s biggest blockbuster” and “the defining musical of the decade” (The New York Times).
