New Year

We all know the usual options for celebrating New Year’s Eve – a party, dinner, a dance, etc. How about this year doing the usual — with a twist? The Arkansas Queen Riverboat is hosting two floating events this New Year’s Eve:  an Early New Year’s Eve Dinner Cruise and a Late Nite New Year’s Eve Party Cruise, both on December 31.

For the early dinner, you’ll board at 6 p.m. with a 6:30 p.m. departure and an 8:30 p.m. return. The scrumptious buffet menu consists of a garden salad, prime rib, baked salmon, scalloped potatoes, southern style green beans, whole kernel corn, dinner rolls and the captain’s dessert. Beverages included are coffee, tea and water. Soda and alcoholic drinks are available for purchase. Cost per person is $58.94 including tax and tip. For couples it is $108.34 including tax and tip.

The later trip boards at 9:30 p.m., departs at 10 p.m., and returns at 12:30 a.m. with an additional half-hour of fun dockside. Shrimp cocktail, a champagne toast at midnight, party snacks and favors make-up the revelry. This costs $54.05 including tax and tip per person; $96.16 for couples including tax and tip.

If you really want to party hearty, you can partake of both celebrations. Total package prices are $89.05 per person or $168.56 for couples, both including tax and tip.

Celebrate the ending of 2010 and the beginning of 2011 aboard the Arkansas Queen.  Call (501) 372-5777 to make your reservations now. The boat is docked at 100 Riverfront Drive in North Little Rock
