One Tank Travels: Get Down in Searcy!

We invite you to have “More Fun Per Gallon” in Arkansas this year. Each day we will be blogging on different Arkansas destinations which can be reached on one tank of gas or less. Main Street Searcy hosts the 5th annual Get Down Downtown in Searcy on Sept. 28-29. The festival kicks off tonight at 6 p.m.

The festival offers live music, arts and crafts, activities for children and a variety of vendors, performers and artists from throughout the region. All activities are held along the streets of downtown Searcy.

Country artist Daryle Singletary headlines Saturday’s entertainment with a live performance at 8 p.m. Check out the event Facebook page for the entire musical lineup and details. For more information, phone 501-279-9007.
