Thirty-four years ago today the world lost the King of Rock ‘n’ Roll – Elvis Presley. Observances are taking place all over. You can honor Elvis right here in Little Rock at the Clinton Presidential Library. Two exemplary exhibits on The King are still at the center but not for long. The acclaimed “Elvis at 21,” on loan from the Smithsonian Institution, features rare photos by Alfred Wertheimer of Elvis Presley at the very beginning of his fame. Last day to see this extraordinary collection is August 21.
A display simply entitled “Elvis” highlights items from the collections of the Clinton Presidential Library, President Clinton and Graceland. It runs through September 11. Today is the perfect day to go see the exhibits and pay homage to The King.
