If you’re an aficionado antique books and papers, then you won’t want to miss the 26th Annual Arkansas Book & Paper Show. It takes place this weekend — Aug. 13-14 – at the Jacksonville Community Center. The event has special displays and offerings by book or paper dealers from throughout the U.S. and authors signing and discussing their latest tomes.
 
Items Included are antiquarian, leather bound, rare, books with fine bindings, first editions, bargain, history fact and fiction, and Civil War. Other topics covered are biographies, children’s, cooking, self help, and fiction and non-fiction books. Other ephemera such maps, collectible postcards, old photographs, and related items are also available.
 
Hours are 9 a.m.-5 p.m. on Saturday, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. on Sunday. Admission is $5. The center is located at 5 Municipal Drive off Hwy 67/167 & Main Street. Visit www.ArkansasBooks.com
