If I had my druthers for Mother’s Day, I would spend the weekend at Buzzard Roost Inn in Mountain Home. I have wanted to visit there since I began receiving the Inn’s emails about restaurant specials. The email is saturated with animated smiley faces and other characters that I would normally think are a bit silly in email. But, I have come to love and look forward to the Buzzard Roost Inn email specials and find them enticing. Actually, I find the email fun and the description of the food enticing.
Plus, the inn has a view of Lake Norfork, private rooms, cabins and a boat dock. It’s located four miles east of Mountain Home on Ark. 178.
I’m not sure when I’m going to get a free weekend to visit and eat there, but it’s definitely on my Want-To-Do List. See a copy of the email below. It may not be animated on this blog, but the characters actually move around when it comes to my inbox. If you get a chance to go before I do, email me and let me know if it makes you smile as much as this email. And doesn’t this food sound scrumptious! When I read it I feel like my mom is emailing me to tell me what to expect when I come home for Sunday dinner.
