It’s officially spring break in The Natural State. Are your kids already bored? Well, here’s something you can do with them that both of you will enjoy. The Clinton Presidential Center in Little Rock is offering Super Seuss Spring Break, March 21-26. From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Friday, there will be free fun activities and drawings for Dr. Seuss books. Thursday brings a visit from The Cat in the Hat.
Also on Thursday is a free screening of the 2008 animated comedy “Horton Hears a Who” at 6:30 p.m. in the Clinton Center Great Hall. Popcorn and drinks are available and there will be Seuss-themed door prizes given away. These are held in conjunction with the current exhibit “The Secret Art of Dr. Seuss” which runs through May 22. You must RSVP either by e-mailing firstname.lastname@example.org or by phoning 501-748-0425 if you plan on attending the movie.
The spring break activities are free. Admission to the library, which includes the Seuss exhibit, is $7 for adults, $3 for children ages 6-17, and free for those age six and under.
