Take Part in an Official Ghost Hunt at Taborian Hall

Kerry Kraus

What better way to celebrate the Halloween season than by taking part in a live paranormal investigation. You can do so this Saturday and next – October 23 and October 30 – as the Friends of Dreamland Ballroom partner with the Arkansas Paranormal Research Association. Participants will experience the actual investigation and hear the fascinating haunted history of Taborian Hall while enjoying food and fun activities.

All three floors of the historic building are explored, from the boarded up basement to the third floor Dreamland Ballroom. The event beings at 8 p.m. ending at 12:30 a.m. Hors d’oeuvres and beverages in Doc’s Pool Hall follow the search. Guests are encouraged to bring cameras and camcorders, but must be at least 18 years-old to take part.

Tickets are $50 per person for each evening and are tax-deductible. Proceeds go to the Friends of Dreamland’s Music Education and Cultural Outreach programs, part of the organization’s mission of bringing the history and musical legacy of Taborian Hall and Dreamland Ballroom to both visitors and Arkansans. Tickets are limited, and can be purchased online or by calling 501-255-5700.

Taborian Hall is now the home of Arkansas Flag and Banner at 800 West Ninth Street in downtown Little Rock.
