Today marks the day of the largest fishing industry media event to take place in Arkansas. My life will be consumed with Arkansas: The State of Fishing, until November 23, 2010 and I will be residing in the Arkansas Ozarks.
I’m working with top photographers and writers from all over the country.
Last night we met with local fishing guides, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission. Today, we are organizing, unpacking equipment and visiting Bear Creek Trout Farm in Harrison; which means we will be feasting on trout at DeVitos.
A lot of my posts will be of great fish photos and behind the scenes of the masters at work.
This morning we’ve reviewed schedules, organized packets for our guests and ran down to the dock, camera in hand, each time fish arrived in a boat. I’ve also been on the phone with Bill Lindner (famous fishing photographer) most of the morning lining up tools for the photo shoot and giving him updates on fish activity.
