Kimberly J. Williams

Looking for an idea for something to do this weekend? Here’s a suggestion! Head to downtown Paragould for the 21st annual Loose Caboose Festival. The festival has something for everyone! There’s live music tonight featuring the Devonshires. The carnival opens tonight at 6 p.m. and features the state’s largest Ferris wheel! Check out the Safari petting zoo and pig races, beginning at 6 p.m. Tonight’s activities also include a community fish fry and bluegrass concert at 5:30 and a karaoke contest at 7 p.m.

On Saturday, there are free train rides beginning at 8 a.m. and the bingo tent opens at 10 a.m. Food vendors, arts and crafts vendors and commercial vendors gear up at 10 a.m. The Kids Zone, featuring activities and games just for kids, kicks off at 10. The Iron Caboose bike ride begins at 10:30. The carnival rides crank up at noon. Live entertainment from the main stage begins at 6 p.m. and features performances by Angie Joiner, Sugar Creek and headliner Easton Corbin.

Noah, this flower is a vinca, and here in AR polepe buy them by the flat as bedding annuals, but in Florida we called them weeds, ’cause they pop up everywhere as wildflowers! The same goes for lantana flowers!
