‹ Return to White River Recognized as National Blueway
Map care of the Missouri Department of Natural Resources.
While this is purported to be a good thing I believe in the end it will mean more expense to farmer’s and river users, more regulation for everyone, and is a very unattainable goal to set. In theory, it may be a good idea, but will be very expensive and unreasonable to maintain and enforce. It’s another example of conservation extremism that does not take into consideration the impact to local citizens and their economies.
