This exhibit displays the talents of three artists: Rene Hein, David Hoge and Michael Warrick. Hein’s canvases are lyrical expressions of color and line which weave a modern tapestry. His interest in color and process over form has led to shapes that are more simplified and abstract. David Hoge’s photography is an exploration of the remains of long-ago railroads. Since 2002 he has been documenting sites which are disappearing from the Arkansas landscape. Michael Warrick’s sculptures in bronze, stone and wood represent an exploration of organic form and textural surface with a natural color pallet. Some of the artists’ works will be available for purchase in the Museum Store.
