Package Description

Located on 136 acres of private land near the pristine Upper Buffalo River Wilderness Area, Azalea Falls offers some of the best in outdoor activities AND lavish accommodations. Go on a hike with an experienced guide and discover some of the Ozark Mountain's natural treasures -- amazing waterfalls, stunning overlooks, picturesque hollows.

And when you're done, forget about roughing it! Stay in our lavish, 3,000 square foot lodge that was featured in a full-page article in the November 2004 issue of Southern Living Magazine. To quote the writer, "luxury in the woods is not a far-fetched notion here. It's a way of life."

"Unexpected elegance", with "fine European antiques" and "enough space to get lost in" are some of the phrases used to describe the rock, glass and redwood Frank Lloyd Wright-styled vacation home. The lodge features a contemporary kitchen, three bedrooms, three baths, two cozy fireplaces, an over-sized whirlpool tub and 3,000 square feet of deck space overlooking an 85-foot cascading waterfall. It is an outdoor enthusiast's dream come true and has all the amenities: satellite TV, VCR with movies, DVD player, stereo system, WiFi, telephone and a fully appointed kitchen with a dishwasher and even a trash compacter.

Or, as mentioned in the article, "if you want a smaller version, opt for the three bedroom cabin," a 1700-square-foot log home which is "modeled after the lodge but isn't as large."

While the lodge and cabin feature beautiful artwork, fine antiques and all the amenities, it is the stunningly breathtaking scenery, near the upper Buffalo National River, that will make your hiking retreat so memorable.
