Evette Brady is executive chef and owner of 1620 Restaurant in Little Rock. Brady started cooking when she was 15 years old and received much of her training from her mother, who was one of the more prolific Little Rock caterers for 45 years.
After culinary school at Fox Valley in Appleton, Wisconsin, Brady went to work at well-known restaurants in the Little Rock area including Jacques and Suzanne, Le Casse Croute and Alouette's. She signed on as chef and general manager when 1620 Restaurant opened in 1990. She bought the restaurant in 1998 and continues to run it as a family business. In addition to the great dishes served in-house, 1620 Restaurant is also one of the premier Little Rock caterers.
