Mama Max's Creamed Corn

Servings 5-6

8 ears of corn shucked and washed

1 heaping TBSP flour

1 Heaping TBSP white sugar

1/4 cup water

1/4 cup butter

salt and pepper to taste

Start by shucking and rinsing the corn so all the silk is removed. Trim the ends and cut kernels into a bowl. Scrape cob with back of knife to remove additional corn and juice from cob. Add flour, sugar and water. Mix well. Heat the butter on medium heat (or about 250 degrees in an electric skillet). Add corn mixture to pan and cook thoroughly until done (about 5-7 minutes.) Salt and pepper to taste and don't forget to add the love.
