A day-long celebration to honor, remember, and welcome home Vietnam Veterans. Due to the controversial nature of the Vietnam War, returning soldiers were not given the greeting they deserved and some were publicly mistreated. Through this celebration the Jacksonville Museum of Military History hopes to provide Vietnam Veterans an official welcome home with an opportunity to fellowship and share their experiences and war stories in a safe and friendly environment. It’s also an opportunity for the public to express their gratitude. The day consists of a parade, Honor and Remembrance Ceremony, and dinner on the grounds.
