Darlene Garstecki is a contemporary Fiber/Jewelry Design award winning artist from Hot Springs Village. Her fiber art results from her passions for nature, travel and photography. She incorporates her photographs into realistic fiber art for the wall using bright, clear hues and embellishments to enhance each piece as well as to add texture and depth.
Darlene’s art has been shown at the Houston International Quilt Festival, American Quilters Society in Paducah, KY, and other juried state and local competitions. Her work has hung at Butler Arts Center in Little Rock and Gallery 726 in Hot Springs. She currently has a piece traveling throughout eight states along Route 66 for the next three years.
