University of Arkansas Summer Design Camp at Garvan Woodland Gardens
Do you know a high school student entering grades 9-12 next fall who loves designing, drawing and building? If so, they’ll want to know about the University of Arkansas’ Summer Design Camp to be held at the Gardens June 23-26.
It’s a chance for them to try their hand at being a designer while working with talented architecture, landscape architecture, and interior design faculty instructors from the Fay Jones School of Architecture. During four days of interactive sessions, participants attend discussions, see movies, take tours, and work on a hands-on design project for a real site. It’s a great introduction to the design disciplines and a chance to get an up-close look at the top-notch design program at the U of A’s Fay Jones School or Architecture (ranked #1 nationally among small school design programs by DesignIntelligence).
