Have you ever wondered what your great-grandparents used to treat a fever? Are you curious about how Native Americans used plants to treat or prevent illness? Have you ever wondered what people did before there were pharmacies on every corner? If any of these questions or similar ones have crossed your mind then this workshop is for you. Enjoy a guided trail hike with interpretation of the plants found at Logoly State Park with emphasis on the plant names, common and scientific, and their uses by our ancestors. Sturdy shoes are a must. A minimum age of twelve is recommended without parents and pre-registration is required. Contact the park to register.
