Pearling and Shelling on the White River
Stop by the Lower White River Museum during Spring Break Heritage Week to hear stories of the mussels collected on the White River. How valuable were the pearls that were found in these mussels? See the importance of the mussel shells as they were used in the pre-World War II era as mussel buttons. This program is included with the price of admission.
