Are you looking for a new and interesting way to spend your summer vacation? Try a broom-making workshop at the Lower White River Museum. Special guest instructor Shawn Hoefer from the Ozark Folk Center State Park will show you the way that brooms were made over 100 years ago. Broom-making was not an easy task and it took time and patience to make one. At this workshop, we will be making a regular whisk and turkey whisk broom to take home. Materials will be provided. All you have to bring is yourself and your enthusiasm. Class size is limited. Reservations and fee required.
