Destroy buildings, cause floods, and control a tornado at Jacksonport State Park's newest exhibit! Discover the destructive power of the elements in Jackson County's history. The day begins Jacksonport State Park Superintendent Mark Ballard speaking about his experience in the "1997 Tornado" in the park. At 10:10 a.m., Robert Craig, Jackson County Historian, presents "Floods of Jackson County" with amazing pictures. David Ware, Arkansas State Capitol Historian, presents "1812 New Madrid Earthquake" at 10:50 a.m. The exhibit opens at 11:30 a.m. Refreshments are provided. The exhibit remains on display until February 1, 2013.
