Students will learn about the Native Americans who lived at the Parkin Site. They will receive a guided tour of the remains of the Casqui Village, learn about the high quality of pottery that was found in the excavations, and discover facts about the daily lives of the Native Americans including the food they ate, tools and weapons they used, and their interaction with the Hernando de Soto expedition. School groups are encouraged to reserve a spot early as slots fill quickly.
