Join University of Arkansas Horticulture Extension Agent, Janet Carson and Garden Associate Executive Director, Bob Byers to learn what it takes to have that summer garden you’ve always wanted. With a little maintenance and planting, your summer garden can be the most inviting and sensual garden in the neighborhood. With our long days and cool evenings, there is more time to enjoy your handiwork. Janet and Bob will discuss some popular spring annuals and more importantly, what to plant during the spring to ensure a beautiful summer landscape. There is an optional walk in the Garden beginning at 9:30 a.m. to view some of the beautiful blooms of spring. Space is limited; advance registration and pre-payment required.
Lunch provided by Chipmunk Café is optional. You will need to bring cash to pay for lunch or you can bring lunch from home.
