2012–A Record-Breaking Year
Last year’s Arkansas Tourism Development Foundation (ATDF) Auction, held in conjunction with the annual Governor’s Conference on Tourism, was one of the most successful in history. Proceeds from the event totaled more than $80,000 and were used to fund scholarships for hospitality and tourism students and to defray expenses associated with the conference. It goes without saying that the future of Arkansas’s tourism industry rests, in part, on the shoulders of these young people receiving scholarships. We still have much work to do to ensure they continue their quest to receive the best education possible and the annual ATDF auction is the conduit to make sure that happens.
