ARKANSAS MOTORCOACH ROLLS THROUGH TOWN TO PROMOTE TRAVEL TO THE SOUTH |

WHAT: The Arkansas delegation of Travel South USA, a group of destination marketing organization (DMO) representatives and several tour operators, will “Go-Green” and take a motorcoach to Birmingham for Travel South Showcase 2010.
Showcase is a regional trade show focused on increasing travel to and within the 12 southern states and will take place in Birmingham, Ala., April 10-14, 2010.
A custom motorcoach with stunning visuals will depart Little Rock, Ark. with planned stops in Memphis, Tenn., and Tupelo, Miss., to pick up additional delegates and promote traveling south via motorcoach, a greener alternative to each member of a group traveling from place to place by plane. The motorcoach, wrapped with images of Arkansas attractions, is run by Little Rock Tours.
Travel South USA is the official regional Destination Marketing Organization for the state tourism offices in the Southern United States, representing Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia and West Virginia.
WHO: Cary and Gina Martin, founders of Little Rock Tours, will be available to discuss this economical and fun way to travel through the south.
WHEN: SATURDAY, APRIL 10
8 a.m. – Depart Little Rock
10:30 a.m. – Arrive in Memphis, Tenn.
11 a.m. – Depart Memphis, Tenn.
1:30 p.m. – Lunch Stop in Tupelo, Miss.
3 p.m. – Depart Tupelo, Miss.
5:30 p.m. – Arrive in Birmingham, Ala., Sheraton Hotel
